All Sellers are required to have a PayPal and Stripe account to sell products on Montana’s MarketPlace. If you do not have a PayPal account, create one by clicking here. If you do not have a Stripe account, create one by visiting here.
Why do I need a Paypal and Stripe Account?
- PayPal – Sellers will receive payments for products purchased via Paypal.
- Stripe – Sellers will receive payments for credit card purchases.
Setting up PayPal and Stripe
Navigate to Seller Dashboard > Settings > Payment
Add your PayPal email address to the PayPal field as shown below. Once your PayPal email address is entered, select ‘Update Settings’.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you enter a valdi PayPal email address. If the email is incorrect, customers will be unable to complete their purchase via PayPal.
To setup your Stripe account, select the ‘Connect with Stripe’ button as shown above.
If you do not have a Stripe account, fill out the form to create your own Stripe account. Once the form has been completed, you will able to connect your Montana’s MarketPlace account to Stripe.
NOTE: If you do not have a website, use your new MarketPlace Store URL as the website when you sign-up with Stripe. Your can access your Store URL using the “Visit Store” link at the top of the Payments Settings page.
If you already have a Stripe account, connect by signing in to Stripe (see arrow above) to complete the process.
Once connected, you will be redirected to the Payment settings page where you will see a messages saying “Your account is connected with Stripe”.
